The Park is perched on top of the ocean cliffs, providing sweeping views to the ocean and Sydney Harbour. The venue has three football fields used for rugby union, soccer and touch football and one hockey field, (No. 4). One of the ovals, (No. 1), has lights for night training. The Park also has three cricket wickets for summer use.

History

Named after Alderman Christison who, as Mayor, was mainly responsible for the site being placed under the control of Council (VMC Minutes 4.02.1920, p. 110).

Dogs

Dogs are permitted on a leash at all times and unleashed between 4.30pm - 8.30am.

Water restrictions

The sports surface is irrigated using potable water and restrictions apply. We are currently exploring water re-use options to adequately irrigate the sports surface.
