Dead or injured animals

Dogs, cats & domestic animals

The Council will collect dead or injured animals from public roads, parks etc. Please call our Customer Service Centre on 9391 7000

If your pet has died, local vets provide disposal services, or check the yellow pages for pet cemeteries. We do not collect dead animals from private property.

Injured native animals

If you find an injured or orphaned native animal, handle it as little as possible, follow the simple animal first first found on the WIRES website and call WIRES on 1800 641 888.
