Current capital works projects
Capital works projects and improvements proposed for the 2011/2012 financial year include:
- Drinking fountains, including bottle refill points, at selected locations
- Installation of Aerial Bundle Cabling - conversion of overhead power cables to bundled cables to minimise impact on street trees
- Installation of a fitness station in a selected location
- Reconstruction of Lyne Park harbourside pathways
- Development of a Flying Boat memorial at Lyne Park
- Upgrade of pathways and entry to Chiswick Gardens
- Upgrade to Rushcutters Bay Park lighting
- Upgrade of paving to Marine Parade south, Watsons Bay
