History
The park is named after Captain William Dumaresq, Sydney's first Surveyor of Roads and Bridges.
Plans of management
A plan of management for Dumaresq Reserve is currently being prepared.

Dogs permitted on a leash at all times and unleashed between 4.30pm and 8.30am.
