Prizes
1st prize - $250 voucher for a portrait sitiing and credit towards prints donated by Marc Gafen the Phodographer.
2nd and 3rd prizes - a combination of dog toys, accessories and treats from Woollahra Council and sponsors Iams dog and cat foods.
Puppies in the Park
Puppies in the Park is a new community dog event proudly presented by Woollahra Council providing dog owners in the municipality with information and advice on pet ownership and an opportunity to have some fun with your four legged friends.
More than 400 dogs and their owners attended Woollahra Council's first Puppies in the Park event on Sunday 20 September at Rushcutters Bay Park.
Particpants were treated to free pet food samples from Iams, very popular Doggy Dashes, Best Trick competitions, on site registration, free muffins and juice and a meet and greet with Assistance Dogs Australia and their puppies. The event was sponsored by the Wentworth Courier and Iams Dogs and Cat Food. The Council is planning other similar events during the next 12 months, check the Council's website event section in January for more information.
