Nominations now open for Citizen of the Year

Nominations are now being sought for the 2010 Woollahra Citizen of the Year Awards.
Nominations are now being sought for the 2010 Woollahra Citizen of the Year Awards across the categories of Woollahra Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year. Nominations close Friday 30th October 2009.
Many Woollahra residents of all ages voluntarily provide their time and services to the community. Woollahra Council encouraged all residents to nominate a community member who, through their efforts has improved the quality of life for others and is a role model for our community.
Nominees for the Citizen of the Year must be residents of the Woollahra Municipality; however their outstanding contributions may have occurred locally or in the wider community. Nominations for the Woollahra Young Citizen of the Year must be under 25 years as of 26 January each year.

Winners will be announced in a ceremony in January 2010.
