Woollahra Council holds free Immunisation Clinics to protect children from the age of two months for four years against diseases such as Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Polio, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Hepatitis B, HIB (Haemophilus Influenzae type b), Meningococcal C, Pneumococcal, Rotavirus and Varicella (Chicken Pox). All parents are invited to take advantage of this free service.
These clinics are held at the Double Bay Early Childhood Health Centre, 1 Cross Street, Double Bay on the first Wednesday of every month. No appointment is necessary. It is important that parents and carers bring along the child’s Medicare Card and Blue Book.
*Please note: Woollahra Council will not be hosting its regular immunisation clinic on Wednesday 5 April. Please see your local GP for assistance. The next free clinic date will advised*
Parents are reminded that should an outbreak of an infectious disease occur non-immunised children may be excluded from their kindergarten/school until the outbreak is over.
