The Woollahra Council Plaque Scheme involves the installation of plaques to commemorate people or places associated with the Woollahra Local Government area that have made a significant contribution to Australia and its culture. A number of plaques have already been installed in the municipality and Council is calling on the community to propose new locations.
Suggestions for potential locations of new plaques will be accepted until 31 October 2017, and all submissions will be considered by the Woollahra Plaques Advisory Committee. Nominations may be made by any member of the public.
For more information, or to submit an idea for a plaque location, visit the Local History section of our website.
