Council moves to provide legal public right of way between Glenmore Rd and Cooper St

Woollahra Council has negotiated an agreement with the owners of 194 Glenmore Road on the granting of an easement to allow legal public access to the passageway between Glenmore Road and Cooper Street Paddington.

Woollahra Council Garden Winners

The Woollahra Municipality is known for its stunning parks and gardens and in 1996, Woollahra Council initiated the first Woollahra Garden Competition to recognise community members and groups who were contributing to beautifying the local environment.
After a week of stunning garden displays and expert talks, the winners of the 2009 Woollahra Garden Awards were announced at a presentation ceremony hosted by Deputy Mayor Peter Cavanagh and former Mayor, Christopher Dawson.

Council and Woolworths move ahead on $115 million Double Bay development

Woollahra Council and Woolworths Limited will form a partnership to develop the current supermarket site and surrounding lands in Double Bay owned by both parties at a cost of $115m. The commercial centre will benefit from an additional $100 million per annum in revenue and the creation of more than 300 jobs.
