Woollahra LEP 1995 (Amendment 61) was gazetted by the Department of Planning on Friday 12 December 2008. Woollahra Council welcomes the gazettal of this LEP amendment in order to protect the provision of open space within the municipality.

On 12 May Council approved a new set of development controls for Paddington called the Paddington Heritage Conservation Area Development Control Plan 2008. The new controls will commence on 26 May 2008 and will replace the Paddington DCP 1999.
