Council hosts the forum with the aim of maintaining good dissemination of information and building sustainable partenerships.  

Membership of the Youth Services Forum (YSF) consists of representatives from schools, education, sports associations, and local youth services. Guest speakers are invited to give talks on a whole range of other topics pertinent to young people. Meetings are held every two months, on the third Thursday, at times to be advised.

Some of the recent issues that have been raised and discussed at the Forum are as follows:

• Positive images of youth in media
• Counter-obesity after school sports programmes
• Volunteering in Conservation projects
• State-wide youth policies
• Information Sessions for Youth Safety Issues
