Seniors Week 2009

Seniors Week in 2009 will be held from Sunday 15th March to Sunday 22nd March 2009.

Council aims to work in collaboration with local organisations and with local residents to facilitate activities that are in line with requirements of the local community. For further information, please phone Council on 9391 7166.

Seniors Week 2008

Seniors Week Live Life Expo at Holdsworth Community Centre

The Live Life Expo held in April promoted Healthy Life Choices for Senior's in the Eastern Suburbs. The Expo,was held during the Senior's Week Celebration provided information in areas such as recreation, home services and leisure opportunities.

The Expo was a collaborative project between Woollahra Council, Holdsworth Community Centre and Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care. The day included opportunities to paqrticipate in Keep Fit classes, Croquet on the reserve and Tai Chi. There was entertainment by the local Glenmore Road Public School Band with an opportunity to sit and enjoy local catering and refreshments.
