Current seniors activities

A large range of activities and events for seniors are conducted each week across the Municipality. This includes activities at Woollahra Seniors and Community Centre, Canonbury Cottage, The Gunyah and Holdsworth Street Community Centre.

Woollahra Seniors' and Community Centre (WSCC)

The WSCC is located in Gaden Reserve, corner of Ocean and Queen Streets, Woollahra. The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm.

The WSCC provides a lunch at 12 noon for members on weekdays. In addition to a well stocked library, the Centre offers a range of activities including bingo, a choir, concerts, handicrafts, discussion groups and outings. The Centre is also available for hire on weekends and evenings.

EJ Ward Community Centre

Healthy Lifestyle Program 2008

Seniors

The Healthy Lifestyle Program is an exercise program for people of all ages to improve flexibility, balance and strength. The Tai Chi program is suitable for all abilities to improve general health and well being.

Class Leader

The leader is an accredited Fitness Instructor with experience in teaching exercise to people over 50.

Holdsworth Community Centre and Services (HCCS)
