Local Bush Tucker Walks
In association with the Eastern Suburbs Organisation for Reconciling Australia (ESORA), Council promotes bush tucker walks in the area.
John Lennis is a local Aboriginal man and has been given permission by the area's Elders to conduct a bushwalk around the foreshore of Nielsen Park, that incorporates Aboriginal culture and education. Participants enjoy a 'bush tucker' tasting treat. These walks have been held on previous occasions and have proved to be very popular, so early booking is essential. All bush tucker walks are free.
