Youth Photographic Award

Entries are now open for the 2016 Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize. 

Any secondary student attending school in Woollahra or the nearby areas or who lives in, or around the Woollahra Municipality are eligible to enter.

Key dates for 2016:

Friday 5 August – entries close

Thursday 15 September – Awards Night at the Double Bay Library

Friday 16 September – Photo Forum at the Double Bay Library

Friday 16 – 28 September – exhibition on view at the Double Bay Library

About the program

This annual competition is open to local high school students, or high school students living in the local government area.

The Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize started in 1994 to provide an opportunity for local high school students to develop their creative skills and have their work and talent recognised.

Through its 23 year history, Council has exhibited the works of many talented high school students and given the public an opportunity to view these inventive and extraordinary images.
