Membership

To join our library, fill out the appropriate membership form and provide proof of current address and signature.  We must sight this identification when you visit the library to join.

Examples of suitable identification are:

  • driver's licence
  • electricity / telephone / gas bill, or
  • credit card, passport, keycard for signature ID

Your first card is free, with a replacement card cost of $3.00 (there are also other fees and charges that you need to be aware of).

Please bring your library card with you when you need to use the library.

By logging onto Member Services, you can check your loans and loan history, reserve items that are out on loan to other members and renew any items that you have out without having to come into the library.

The library has four types of membership:

  • Adult: For members 18 years old and above. 
  • Young adult: Young adults are members between 15 and 17 years of age. You will need a parent or guardian to sign the membership form.  Once this has been signed, you will be given your library card.
  • Children: For members up to 15 years of age.  You will need a parent or guardian to sign the membership form.  Once this has been signed, you will be given your library card.

Membership expiry: this happens every two years. Contact the library on 9391 7100 or visit the library;  we will renew your membership and revalidate your existing membership card after verifying your details.
