Membership

Membership is free! To join our library you can

1. Join online - This will allow you to:

Request books and other materials in the library catalogue. To borrow these items you will need to confirm your identity by visiting the library and presenting proof of your name and current address.

2. Visit the Library.

To complete your registration and obtain full access to all Library services including eResources, you will be required to show staff proof of current address (e.g. Drivers Licence, Bank statements, Utility Bills) and identification (e.g. Drivers Licence, Medicare Card).

You will then be issued with a library card and have immediate access to our physical and e-resources including:

  • eBooks and eAudiobooks
  • eMagazines
  • Downloadable music from Freegal

Please bring your library card with you when you visit the library.

Membership Information

Types of Membership

  • Adult Membership

For members 18 yrs old and above.

  • Children's Membership (under 18 years)

Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a guarantor who agrees to be responsible for any fees and charges the child may incur. The guarantor must bring in identification as listed above.

Members under 18 who come into the library to join without a guarantor must bring a signed parental permission letter plus proof of the parents' signature and current address.

Membership expiry

Your membership expires after three years. Contact the library on 9391 7100 or visit the library and we will renew your membership and revalidate your existing membership card after verifying your contact details.

Reserving and Renewing Online

By logging onto Member Services you can check your loans and loan history, reserve items that are out on loan to other members and renew any items that you have borrowed without having to come into the library.
