• Monday, Tuesday: 10am - 5pm
• Thursday, Friday: 10am - 2.30pm
• Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday: closed
• Closed on public holidays

Local history service

The Centre is part of the Woollahra Library and Information Service and is open to the public.

The Local history collection is unavailable for loan.

Local history staff are available throughout opening hours to assist you with your enquiry.The staff cannot, however, undertake detailed research for you without charging for this service.

If you are unable to visit the Centre, you can phone, fax, mail or email the staff who can undertake limited free research assistance in response.

Complex enquiries are best put in writing. Charges will apply for research undertaken on your behalf by the Local History staff.

Facilities available include:

• Three microform reader/printers
• Photocopier
• CDROM / Internet PC

Fees and charges

There are no charges for using the collection or consulting with the staff.

There are minimal per page printed charges for copying on the microform readers or the photocopier.

There are also charges if you request the staff to undertake research for you.
