Woollahra Library & Information Service invites you to get into the Christmas spirit by joining our Christmas carols, Christmas stories and Christmas card making activities.

Activities will be held in our various library locations:

Paddington Library:
Tuesday 16 December, 11am-12pm

Watsons Bay Library:
Wednesday 17 December, 4pm-5pm

Double Bay Central Library:
Thursday 18 December, 11am-12pm

These activities are suitable for all ages and bookings are essential.

Summer Reading Club

Get in the Game, Read!

The race is on! Get hold of your Reading Log from Monday 15 December at any of our library branches and begin the challenge to read 20 books by 16 January. Prizes will be awarded to those who keep within the game’s rules. You can also be in the chance to win a $50 book voucher by writing a book review as part of our Book Review Competition!

Games afternoons will also be held along with a Mad Hatters Tea Party to hand out certificates to those who have successfully completed their Reading Log.

Mad Hatters Tea Party

22nd Jan 2009 3:30pm-4:30pm

Wear your best hat to a scrumptious afternoon tea on Thursday 22 January at Double Bay Central Library from 3.30pm-4.30pm.

Celebrate with the winners of the book review competition and enjoy a reading from Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”. Certificates of participation in the Summer Reading Club will also be handed out at the party.

A lucky door prize will be on offer and food and beverages will be served. This is a free event and bookings are essential.
