The Woollahra Library and Information Service has many different types of junior resources.
Your card will allow you to borrow DVDs, toys, books, and more.
Fiction
Our collection contains books at different reading levels, from beginner readers to young adult and are colour coded and labelled for easy selection.| Colour code |

| Pre-school books: | Books for babies; board books; durable baby-friendly books. |
| Junior Readers: | An introduction to chapter books, simple and fun to read. |
| Easies: | Picture books for parents to read and show to young children. |
| JF: | Junior fiction or chapter books for children. |
| Large JF: | Junior fiction books with illustrations. |
| YA: | Fiction with more mature themes for older children/teens. |
Non-fiction
000-999: Dewey Decimal System
Folio collection: large non-fiction or information books - great for information and well illustrated.
Paperbacks: reading non-fiction for pleasure collection.
Reference books: a reliable/fast source of information, including encyclopaedias, atlases and year books. They cannot be borrowed. You can also use online databases as a source of current information. These can be accessed from home and by using the libraries online computers.
Toys
The toy library is located at our Double Bay Central Library and includes an excitng selection of:
- baby toys
- percussion instruments,
- wooden puzzles,
- games
- toys
These can be used to promote children's development, education and expression and play time.
