The Woollahra Library & Information Service's Children's Program is tailored to the needs of children and young adults of various ages. Sessions are running at our various library locations.
Rhyme Time at Double Bay Library
Every week on Tuesday, until 18th Dec 2012, 3:30pm, starting 7th Feb 2012.
Rhyme Time is a free, fun and interactive program designed for children aged 0 to 2 years.
It introduces children to the joys of literature and language.
Rhyme Time combines rhymes, singing, board books and toys. This program aims to encourage and develop a life long love of books and libraries.
No bookings are required.

Parents/carers and children are invited to storytime at Double Bay Central Library every Monday from 10.30am.
Storytime is an opportunity for preschool children aged 3 to 5 and their parents/carers to share the joys of literature, language, rhythm and rhyme.
Each session consists of a general theme which incorporates songs, rhymes, stories and a simple craft activity for your child. They will sometimes need your assistance!

Kids Club - Double Bay
Every month on the last Thursday of the month, until 31st May 2012, 4pm, starting 29th Mar 2012.
The Kids Club is for children of primary school age to enjoy once a month at the Double Bay Central Library on the last Thursday of every month from 4pm.
This month we have Michael Earp, a rep from Walker Books coming to Kids Club to show us a selection of new release books.
As well as looking through the books, the children will be able to make some selections for the library and to reserve these books so they will be able to borrow them first as soon as they have been catalogued.
Afternoon tea is provided at each Kids Club session in the form of pizza and lemonade.
In 2012 we would like to actively involve members of the local community to visit Kids Club and engage with the children by talking about their particular professions or hobbies.
