Junior Library temporary closure

15 May 2012 -

Double Bay Junior library is having some minor renovations soon and will be closed on: Friday 1 June - from 4pm, Saturday 2 June and Sunday 3 June. The adult library will remain open, and Junior library services will resume on Monday 4 June.

Face of Volunteering Photo Contest

04 May 2012 - Entries for the 'Face of Volunteering' Photo Contest are open until 24 May 2012. Open to Home and Community Care funded services in Woollahra, Botany, City of Sydney, Randwick and Waverley areas.

Lyne Park boat ramp temporarily closed for upgrade

30 Apr 2012 - The Rose Bay boat ramp at Lyne Park will undergo a major $1.165 million upgrade. The project will deliver a much wider ramp and two attached pontoons that will improve the safety and convenience of launching, loading and unloading vessels.

Locals urged to have their say on transport improvements

02 Feb 2012 - Woollahra Council has joined with Waverley and Randwick Councils to take up to the 10% Challenge, to reduce carbon emissions by 10%; or to reduce energy and fuel consumption by 10%.

Trackwork on Eastern Suburbs line

03 Jan 2012 - The Eastern Suburbs train line between Central and Bondi Junction stations will not be operational on the weekend of 5 and 6 May 2012. Buses will replace train services during this time.

07 Dec 2011 - The development application (DA) for 33 Cross Street was considered by Woollahra Council’s Strategic & Corporate Committee and by Council on Tuesday 6 December.

Have your say on Kiaora Lands - amended plans

07 Dec 2011 - Amended plans have been submitted on the proposed $110 million Kiaora Lands redevelopment at Double Bay. Woollahra Council invite you to have your say on these. Submissions close 2 May, and the DA is available for viewing on the Kiaora Lands website.
