Woollahra Council employed the services of sustainability consultants Kenisis to measure its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and to develop a strategy and action plan to reduce and manage these emissions.

This project builds on the CCP program, Planet Footprint Reporting and Councils GHG action plan and includes the following work:

• Review and summarize all internal and external policies and programs as well as industry best practice
• Refine and restate greenhouse gass emissions data and develop a carbon reduction strategy and action plan with new targets
• Produce a set of tools and materials that allows Council to work to a clear action plan and report emissions annually.
