Holdsworth Community Centre

Woollahra Council has received $79,427 from the NSW Government's Climate Change Fund - Public Facilities Program to install rainwater tanks and other water saving technologies at the Holdsworth Community Centre, saving 700,000 litres of water annually.

The project includes the installation of rainwater tanks, waterless urinals and a water wise, organic garden. The Holdsworth Commmunity Centre will be a demonstration site to Woollahra residents showcasing water saving technologies you can implement in your own home.

'Council has endeavoured to improve its water conservation over recent years, resulting in Council now using a third of the water we used in 2002', said Clr Andrew Petrie, Mayor of Woollahra.
