Environmental Works Program (EWP)

Through the introduction of an Environmental Levy in 2002, Council has been able to fund a range of specific improvement projects called the Environmental Works Program.

The EWP has and will continue to:

  • deliver excellent water quality
  • improved bushland
  • environmental education
  • water and energy savings
  • reduced pollution
  • flooding benefits to our local community.
