Draft Woollahra Local Environment Plan 1995 (Amendment No.60) and Draft Neighbourhood Centres Development Control Plan on exhibition.

Woollahra Council has prepared a strategy for the neighbourhood centres that are located throughout the Municipality.  The first stage is the preparation of Draft Woollahra Local Environmental Plan 1995 (Amendment No.60) and Draft Neighbourhood Centres Development Control Plan (DCP) for eleven of the centres.

The neighbourhood shopping centres provide essential retail and commerical services for their local communities and the primary purpose of the draft plans is to help rejuvenate and maintain their retail health over the long term.

Details of the public exhibition of the Draft LEP and Draft DCP are as follows:

Dates: Friday 11 May 2007 to Friday 22 June 2007

Location: Woollahra Council Administration Offices, 536 New South Head Rd, Double Bay (during business hours 8:00am - 4:30pm)

Written submissions on the provisions of the Draft LEP and Draft DCP are invited and may be made up to and including 4:30pm, 22 June 2007. Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Woollahra Council, PO Box 61, Double Bay NSW 1360. Submissions may also be emailed to records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au.
