Woollahra Council has prepared a draft development control plan (Draft DCP) to amend the Development Control Plan for Off-Street Car Parking Provision and Servicing Facilities.
The Draft DCP proposes three amendments to the off-street parking requirements for medical consulting rooms.
The first amendment applies solely to the area bounded by Syd Einfeld Drive, Edgecliff Road (southern side) Adelaide Street (western side) and Vernon Street (both sides)
In this area, the Draft DCP proposes to reduce the number of off-street car parking spaces required for medical consulting to maximum rates of:
The Draft DCP also proposes two minor amendments to the parking requirements for medical consulting rooms in the Woollahra Local Government Area.

The Draft DCP is on public exhibition from Friday 21 August 2009 to Friday 25 September 2009.
