Draft LEP Amendment No.66 - Heritage Items on exhibition

Exhibition of Draft Woollahra Local Environmental Plan 1995 (Amendment No. 66) - Heritage items

Council has prepared a draft local environmental plan (Draft LEP) which proposes to amend Woollahra LEP 1995 by:

  • adding certain properties in Edgecliff, Darling Point, Paddington, Point Piper, Vaucluse, Watsons Bay and Woollahra to the schedule of heritage items, and
  • adding certain properties in Edgecliff, Woollahra and Watsons Bay to the schedule of heritage items forming a heritage item group.

The Draft LEP is the culmination of a series of studies which investigated potential heritage items throughout the Woollahra Municipality. The primary studies were:

  • Clive Lucas Stapleton and Partners, March 2005, Woollahra Contemporary Buildings Heritage Study
  • Graham Brooks and Associates Woollahra (suburb) Potential Heritage Items Review
  • Noel Bell Ridley Smith and Partners, Watsons Bay Potential Heritage Items Review

Exhibition of the Draft LEP

The Draft LEP is on exhibition from Friday 30 October 2009 to Friday 18 December 2009.

Exhibition will occur at Woollahra Council Administration Office, 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay, during the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Making a submission

Written submissions on the content of the Draft Plan are invited. Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Woollahra Council, PO Box 61 Double Bay, NSW 1360 and may be lodged up to and including 4.30pm, Friday 18 December 2009

Submissions may also be e-mailed to records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au.

Privacy notification

The supply of information is voluntary. If personal information is not provided, Council may be limited in dealing with a submission. Submissions, summaries of submissions, and/or names and addresses of people making submissions may be included in publicly available reports to Council or Committee Meetings. All submissions will be placed on the appropriate Council file and may be accessed by Councillors, Council Officers, consultants to Council or members of the public.
