Woollahra Council has a long commitment to Community Safety and Crime prevention. The Community Safety Committee is convened every six weeks. It brings together Council, Police, Community Groups and Residents interested in local safety issues and crime prevention in Woollahra. In 2006 Council drafted a Crime Prevention Plan (PDF file, 336 kb), which identifies a range of strategies to address property crime, personal crime, drug and alcohol related crime and crimes against children.
