Our volunteers support many of the services and facilities we provide. They offer a wealth of knowledge, care and support, to help us to meet the diverse needs of our community and our environment. Council is very grateful for the time, energy and skills people dedicate to helping others and Council.
Besides being an enjoyable experience, volunteering offers many benefits, including:

Council faciliates volunteering in the Woollahra area primarily, through The Woollahra Volunteer Forum, which is a joint project with Holdsworth Street Community Centre. The forum is attended by services that work with volunteers to provide services to residents in the Woollahra area.
The aim of the Forum is to support organisations in recruitment, training and supporting volunteers. The Forum also services as an information sharing opportunity.
This quarterly newsletter is an initiative of the participants of the Volunteer Forum, supported by Woollahra Council and Holdsworth Community Centre & Services. The newsletter aims to supplement the Volunteer Forum and support the local volunteer sector network.
