Bush Tucker Walks

These award winning Bush Tucker Walks and events incorporate Aboriginal culture and education. The events are hosted by the Eastern Suburbs Organisation for Reconciling Australia (ESORA) and supported by Woollahra Council through our Community and Cultural Grants Program.

The award winning walk takes place in and around Nielsen Park, incorporating Aboriginal culture and education, while participants enjoy bush tucker tasting treats along the way.

This is a free event, which is suitable for all ages, and there are steps involved.

Upcoming Bush Tucker events will be posted on the Events Calendar, or you can sign up to the What's On e-newsletter to get event updates delivered straight to your mailbox!

What others say about the Bush Tucker Walks:

"I just wanted to let you know how informative, interesting and fun I found the bush tucker walk on Saturday morning. The group was extremely interested in aboriginal history and John did his best to answer every question asked, which lent to some fantastic background above and beyond the walk."

"The bush tucker tasting was great - actually very nice food (I'd expected grubs!) and a great location on a rock overlooking the harbour. John was clearly enthusiastic and keen to share as much as possible with the group."
