  • When do I collect the key for the venue?
    • For weekend hirers: The key is available from Council Chambers between 8.30am and 4.30pm the Friday before your booking.
      For weekday hirers: The key is available the morning of your booking or by other arrangement with the Venue Coordinator.
  • Where do I collect the key from?
    • The key is available for collection from Council Chambers between 8.30am and 4.30pm weekdays.
  • When do I return the key?
    • The keys are to be returned on the next working day after your booking. Eg. Monday morning for weekend hirers.
  • When will I receive a refund of my deposit?
    • A refund is processed once the key has been returned and all Conditions of Hire have been met. This takes approximately 10 working days.

Hours

Available for hire from 4:30pm to 10pm weekday evenings, and from 9am to 10pm Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Children’s party session times:
9:00am – 12:30pm
1:00pm – 4:30pm

Additional information

Equipment and facilities available:

The main hall has vinyl flooring and tables and chairs for up to 60 people.

The kitchen facilities include a fridge, microwave, gas oven, dishwasher, pie warmer and access to hot water. Hirers must supply their own kitchen supplies (e.g. tea, coffee, cutlery, crockery).

The library and under croft each have tables and chairs for up to 20 people and are ideal for small meeting groups.

This venue operates as a community centre 9am to 4pm weekdays, providing services and activities for seniors and the broader community.
