Many of our parks are available for hire for weddings, and social, corporate or public/community events.
Woollahra residents and the general public are welcome to use our Parks and Reserves for small social functions such as picnics, get togethers and birthday's for up to 20 people without a charge or booking.
Bookings are essential for large social functions of more than 20 people, and are also required for any weddings, ceremonies, bridal photography, corporate functions, corporate promotional activities or organised sports, regardless of the size of the group.
A fee applies to cover park maintenance, and a cancellation fee is charged for all bookings. All bookings require the applicable form to be completed and submitted to Council with the relevant fee, and special conditions may apply for some events. If booking an area and erecting a marquee and/or amusement device, additional fees, bond and conditions apply.
If you wish to hold a public or community event in a Council park or reserve, you must complete the relevant forms and provide, in writing, any additional information. Please ensure to check availability of the park before submitting your application.
