Community and Cultural Grants Program

Council’s Community and Cultural Grants program for 2013/14 is now open. Applications close on June 28.

About the program

Council's grants program seeks to support organisations, groups or individuals who provide an activity or program that works towards a connected, liveable, vibrant and creative community in the Woollahra Local Government Area.

  • The Small Community and Cultural Grants Program is offered twice per year for community initiatives up to $1,000.
  • The Large Community and Cultural Grants Program is offered once per year for community initiatives up to $5,000.

Scope of projects

1. Community projects

This includes but not limited to services/projects/activities which compliment the Councils own services and identified priorities in the areas of families, children, youth, seniors and people with a disability and community safety.

2. Cultural projects

This includes a broad range of arts and cultural development initiatives that are in line with priorities identified by Council. Examples may include but not limited to performing and visual arts and crafts, literature, film, design, history and heritage and their expression through public debate, festivals, exhibitions, performances, creative space, competitions and public celebrations of importance to communities.
