
The Pauline McLeod Awards for Reconciliation provide our community an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements big and small of local people and organisations.
Presentation of the Pauline McLeod Awards and presentaiton of winners of the Schools Art Competition will take place on Thursday 31 May, from 4pm at Leichhardt Municipal Council, 7-15 Wetherill Street, Leichhardt.
Merindah Donnelly: Youth Award
For her work as a spokesperson and ambassador for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rights.

Aunty Elaine Russell: Pauline McLeod Award
For her efforts to raise awareness of the historical treatment of Koori people through art and children's books and storytelling.
Aunty Barbara Simms-Keeley: Pauline McLeod Award
For her support for the Aboriginal community of La Perouse, particularly in the areas of Aged Care and Health.
Sharron Smith and Hoda Kobeissi: Pauline McLeod Award
For their voluntary work assisting Aboriginal communities organise and run major events in the Eastern Suburbs.
Peter Henne: Pauline McLeod Award
For his contribution leading a team of volunteers to repair and maintain Yarra Bay House at La Perouse. The team has made a lasting and enduring contribution to community capacity building, reconciliation and to a brighter, stronger and resilient community.
Melinda Leves: Pauline McLeod Award
For her inconsiderable work for the communities in the Eastern Suburbs and again in Land Council words, 'Melinda is one of the most helpful and supportive "Gubbas" ever to work in the community" .
